It was a joy to curate the 10-concert Utzon Music Series 2025 for the iconic Sydney Opera House, and for 2026, our program is even bolder and more expansive.
Across 2026, we’ll be hosting 34 artists working in beautifully imaginative ways, many making their first visit to Australia. We love bringing audiences up close to extraordinary performers who are expanding the possibilities of chamber music.
World premieres, new collaborations, and beloved classics are performed by a cast of musicians who are brilliant, generous, and adventurous. Ours is a gorgeous listening room, and its calm beauty and intimacy create a deep sense of connection through sound.
We meet on Gadigal Land, in Utzon’s own precious room. It’s a beautiful experience, sitting drenched in light and music, birds dipping and diving behind the performers’ backs, while you dream out onto harbour views. Utzon Music is a perfect place to join friends and strangers, united in the restorative balm of listening.
